The Village of Plainfield is updating its zoning and development regulations into a comprehensive Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). This new UDO will combine the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Code into a single, user-friendly document. It will serve as both a guide and a practical tool to regulate and promote community and economic development, sustainability, and natural resource preservation by setting clear standards for future development and land use.
